StoragePro replied Jun 18, 2009The day is not over, and the chart is pretty limited in scope, but it looks like Bullish PB forming to me on the daily and a resumption of an upswing. Looks like North to me.

StoragePro replied Jun 18, 2009Hello Run - For those who can sit by and manage the trade, it was doable. I could not do that today, so I sits on the sidelines, and wait... Tell you what, watching PB's like that one do precisely what I suspect they will do is oddly gratifying. ...

StoragePro replied Jun 18, 2009Hey Boss - I've a question and observation. I do not do the blind entry - working on what works for me still. For that particular trade I saw it too, but passed because the PPZ was not what I consider 'sharply defined' nor did I see a 'habit' of ...

StoragePro replied Jun 18, 2009It is a funny thing - we can hear all day long from those who have traveled the road, but geeze, how many actually *listen* - not many ever do. Those that eventually listen tend to need a good beating or two to get the ears turned on for real. It ...

StoragePro replied Jun 17, 2009Hi Fun - This one is not an A+ for me. Location seems good at first blush, It is at a 61.8% retrace (not shown on chart), it is at a minor PPZ and the bottom pokes thru a round number... The PB is well formed on my feed. Not so much on yours, I am ...

StoragePro replied Jun 17, 2009That is the the tricky part for me. I find myself refining a bit as levels get hit and reverse. I seem to get close on the first try, and sometimes right on the money. Looking back at S/R areas helps it seems to align things well. It appears to be ...

StoragePro replied Jun 17, 2009Been doing the same with multiples. Although I draw them in by hand... I find the chart gets a little busy for me - so it will take some time to adjust the eyes. It is uncanny how often a fib line or 'vibration' will line up on a S/R.

It is great to see it that way - no? The war is won by fighting the winnable battles. If and when you add in the 4hr, your opportunities will grow, but the rules of engagement are exactly the same. Then the 8% will look more like 18%. ...james16 Chart Thread

StoragePro replied Jun 16, 2009Ah well. I try. I meant no offense. Just prodding a little. I am far from an Ascetic nor do I contemplate my navel. I am not trying to start a debate - honestly. But when I see someone says that the money is not why they are trying to do this - ...

StoragePro replied Jun 16, 2009Ryan - can that nutritionist make me stop eating Doritos? I don't know if you really want to be strong like Jim. He ruins a lot of shirts. I do also, but from spilling grape jelly on them, and his shred from rippling muscles every time he moves. ...

StoragePro replied Jun 16, 2009There are a number of us who trade Dailies. The James16 thread is a place where it is taught. In my opinion, it is the safest way to learn. No question about it.

StoragePro replied Jun 15, 2009You'll have to read the contracts to determine what is (or might be) scalping. If the contract is not clear, ask them for clarification in writing. Scalping is a time frame thing - not a pip thing.

StoragePro replied Jun 11, 2009That made my head hurt just thinking about the possibility of running down that road. Ugh. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to *learn from others*, rather than having to learn every lesson on our own. If, of course, we are willing to do so and ...

StoragePro replied Jun 6, 2009In 1987 a good friend of mine had on a large position built over some time in the bond market. With stop losses in place, those markets reversed with power on October 19, AKA, "Black Monday". The "House Money" soon became his losses because his ...

StoragePro replied May 30, 2009It is not bad. In fact, any trade you place on any market, anywhere in the world has a counter party. A DD makes a market for you because if they do not, you won't have one to trade with small positions. You have to have a counter party to trade - ...
