Always easier to use a picture. Blue = Fib Ext tool Red = Fib Ret Where are your targets?

Very nice setups soya! I have a very basic/beginner type question. Do you use the Fib Ext tool like Daz did for the 61.8 target?

I love this pair, but I'm never awake when the going gets good. It's very annoying to wait so patiently for a pair to line up, and then just miss it.

Should you be so inclined as to fade the current rally in equities, this wouldn't be a horrible place to look with GBP/JPY (EUR/JPY has a similar thing going on, and CAD/looks pretty good too).

ha! I wish. Just not my style of trading. My AUD/JPY stopped out when the new highs were made, but my 4H GBP/CHF gartley is working very well right now. I took partial profits at around 1:1.5 R:R, and am letting the rest run to the 127 fib. I'm at ...

Some very nice setups are just not working out right now. Being a good range trader would be a very nice tool to add for me.

It was a sweet setup. Unfortunately I wasn't available to take it at the time. Glad to see you made some nice pips though! I did get in on the gbp/chf setup (that I posted last night) after PA rejected the 78.6% ret leg. It's basically the same ...

One more — Pretty much a great ABCD on AUD/JPY. If it works out, it can go for a while. We have two Fibs converging with each other and with the TL. A Bearish engulfing bar that engulfs the previous 9 4H bars. That's 36 hours worth of ticks ...

Very nice thread Tunji. Thanks for putting it together.

Head & Shoulders — USD/JPY The pattern looks pretty good to me. This pair never got to my target entry of 95.00, and this seems to lend more credence to a top for now.

The market has been in a range for many currencies, and equities are showing serious strength on earnings reports. Now it appears some correlations may have decoupled. Typically, the S&P, TNX (10 year bond yield), and AUD/JPY (or most jpy pairs for ...

Not much going on with my charts. I do see a potential gartley on the back end of a TL and at a pretty nice s/r level. GBP/CHF

I've been looking for butterflies and gartleys and say this butterfly line up last night. I'm not trading them right now, but this one look right and it was close to the TL.

There also appears to be some other Fib confluence just above it around 96.16-95.19 Lots of stuff in about a 20 pip range. If I was more aggressive I would fade it (w/o waiting for PA to confirm reversal) an put a stop just above 95.50

Digging the charts aftab
I really like the 95.00 level for a return to the down trend on the USD/JPY. Excellent round number. Strong former support that should now be resistance. Confluence with 61.8 Fib And likely to be around the time ...Damion's Tribute

Absolutely. I mentioned that when I first posted the EUR/USD chart last week as I noticed the potential gartley. I was hesitant because it wasn't a true TL as we use them for ABCD. I had it marked simply as gauge of the extended range that pair has ...

It was within a few pips of yesterday's high of 7766 (7761 just recently). Now at 7615, but still above the breakout. If it breaks 7766, things should move nicely. I still have to fight myself with stops. I can still get emotional and trail them too ...

As luck would have it, I was too busy reading here and forgot to set my limit order... and price just shot up. Oh well, at least I'm learning. I know Dra shot for a R:R of 1:1.5 on his trades. Where are your targets on this trade? I'm seeing the ...
