Matt, I think it depends on market conditions. The numbers seem to be quite accurate when there's some strong momentum in the market. I doubt that they are true in non-trending markets.

My Oanda demo platform freezed too. Nevertheless I could make 30 pips when GBP/USD retraced. The platform is very unstable during news times to say the least.
