Came up good for USD... giving a nice spike down on EU for those in short positions

Google will be your friend, but I'll help out with some of the most common ones: RN = Round Number (1.3700, 1.3800, 1.3900 etc) SH = Swing High (generally speaking, a bar high which has lower highs on the bars either side of it) SL = Swing Low HH = ...

I traded this short. My biggest consideration here was the RN (1.3700). Price failed to hit it with any amount of strength, merely testing it twice. I think you entered on the start of the second test? The lack of projection on the swing that first ...

Pending orders scare me.... what happens if the price shoots through your pending order with strength?Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

Let me first preface this by saying: I'm very much a novice at this style, and while I've enjoyed modest success using it, it is far too soon for me to tell the long-term viability of my thoughts. I look for confluence... other factors that suggest ...

If I may offer my thoughts, until somebody more knowledgeable appears. Regarding questions 1 and 2: Mr Pip has outlined his personal thoughts on this in three Word documents. In 2 of these documents (ABCD and Gartley Rules of Engagement), he goes ...

In my humble opinion, that was the pure product of high impact news that came back really bad for USD... price could just as easily have tanked. To have profited (or had your stops knocked out) would have been down to simple chance depending on ...

Both of those look like they have some prospects. I'm now looking to close up my positions in the next 15-20 minutes, until after the news. Too chicken to trade them at the moment!

You haven't missed much... I guess everybody is waiting for the Non-Farm Employment Change. Only opportunities I've seen have been playing tennis as price ranges about 10-14 pips.Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

Just seen your charts - you took the same trade as Pampaq - awesome! You're giving me more temptation to stray away from EURUSD

I'm with you about it pushing higher - it is so tempting to enter short now, but I won't feel comfortable until it's made it all the way up to the RN / 61.8 / 1.27AB=CD. Willpower!

Is that the short? If so, it was a nice spot! I love aggressive C's when the BC leg is made up of a smaller AB=CD

Agreed that resistance off the RN is looking good... coincides with 61.8 and 1.27AB=CD. Price is slowing nicely

I took it long. I was very tempted to jump straight back in and take the Agg C short back to the RN too, but it's too close to news for my liking.
