DharmaTrader replied Jun 17, 2012131, I was just getting my system squared tonight for tomorrow's trading and see that you vouched for me. Thanks bro; I'll do my best to live up to the honor as I continue to evolve my trading skills and experience. I am out here on almost a daily ...

DharmaTrader replied Jun 15, 2012Saw your post over on the Trade What You See thread where I am active. Nice reviews and descriptions of when/why you took your EU trades. Are you primarily a Daily/4H trader looking at the lower TFs to fine tune your entry?

DharmaTrader replied Jun 15, 2012Had I waited for the candle to close I most certainly wouldn't have taken it short. As EO said, it's not a signal until it closes. And with that DBLHC and the flat MAs I'd say that it wasn't a short signal either way. What support were you looking ...

DharmaTrader replied Jun 15, 2012131, Question about your 1%. Do you adjust your lot size depending on the stop loss that you intend to use for each trade. For example, with a 20 pip SL you may be trading 2 lots but with a 10 pip SL you bump it up to 4? -Thanks

DharmaTrader replied Jun 15, 2012Just got smoked big time by the GU. Tried to sell the retracement of that last down move near the 15M MAs and got taken to the cleaners.
Same trade on the AU/EU would have yielded pips. Looking now, the MAs were flat, pretty much on all TFs ...Trade what you see NOT what you expect

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012I love it! I think on Monday you cleared almost another 100 full pips. With these type of results I can see how EO / Infinity and others were clearing 1000 a week. Great job! I managed 48 full pips today but definitely felt like I was "working" for ...

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012EU S/R — Going to be looking for a good opportunity to short the EU at these levels after the NY close. The white line is a major weekly S/R level that's been in play since 2008. We also have the Daily and Weekly R1 Pivots here as well. Will ...

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012Picked up an AU long at 74. We may see a final push toward the highs going into the NY close 1 hr from now. image While I was typing she surged. Took 1/2 off at the previous highs and SL to B/E. image

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012With the AU and EU + the US500 near their recent highs I'll bet that we'll range around in this area and then the decision will be made going into the US market close at 4:00 ET. Activity usually picks back up around 2:00 ET.

I usually look at the daily but haven't looked at the weekly in a while. Thanks. I managed to get 10 out of the GU short there but it just feels like I'm going against the flow instead of with it.Trade what you see NOT what you expect

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012Closed my GU short as it just doesn't want to stay below the 15M 10EMA. The US500 looks to be breaking higher and will most likely carry the USD pairs with it.

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012Was just thinking about you Cap, as my current GU short is against the MAs and I'm not sure how wise that is. There is something to be said for going against the MAs at good S/R levels but it seems like you really have to pull the trigger when it ...

DharmaTrader replied Jun 14, 2012Let's see what 131 thinks. I've seen a lot of people say that TLs are too subjective but in any case they do seem to be areas to pay attention. Your upper TL seems more legit to me. The lower one is so steep that it seems like it would be hard to ...
