Well, it was all looking so grand until that outage happened. image So that was quite alright. A little bit of down time that was rather manageable I think for my particular brand of trading. But then the following! What on bloody earth ...

I could care less about MT5 until the servers are working properly. MT5 will be neat in its own way but if the servers are still crap, then who cares of GO has MT5 or not?

Yup, FXCM has most every option under the sun so long as you don't mind dealing with a company that when forced to pay for slippage on American accounts, opts to not do same for all of their account holders world wide. An unethical broker can offer ...

Well, after an initial couple of hours of niceness, this is now actually quite horrible. As you can see below, I'm up to 33 minutes of total daily down time so far and server connection has been flipping more often than a mad McDonalds burger cook.

Hmm, I've experienced the smoothest connection I've ever seen with GO since they performed maintenance on the firewalls. Just about a minute or so shy of a solid 2.5 hours of an uninterrupted connection to DC1.

Have experienced several outages today and also was connected to the SD servers again. Terrible. This increases my average latency by about 150-200 milliseconds at least. In total, my platform has either had to switch or reconnect to one of the DCs ...

I'm curious to know more about your trading strategy as your explanation at FPA was a little dodgy. Something about hedging your positions at one broker against the positions you hold at another broker? Are you using arbitrage trading or something?
