yeah I expected to lose money quickly on the position when I put it on haha. however gj broke out of an inverse head and shoulder on 15 min bars....question is what does that really mean on an illiquid trading period, probably not much also gold ...

both pairs moved in my favor faster than I expected.... i'll set my stop loss to break even and see how it reacts to resistance levels on both pairs nice way to start the week

I'll try a pair trade here... short audusd which has been killing the dollar and formed a nice pinbar on the daily last week and long gbpjpy which has been sucking tits for weeks.... i want to be long gj as a longer term trade and the short aussie ...

1 year with 50 and 200 ma's... slightly longer than what most traders here use but I can change the time period and ma's if anyone requests

fear/greed — i found this bloomberg indicator somewhat interesting.... unless you feel something fundamental has changed in the trend of the pair, buying on elevated "fear" levels was a relatively good trade for 2-week trades or longer... ...

ROFL!!! If the market is in recovery mode, why buy lagging dividend stocks that are defensive? CD's are exactly the same as treasuries too... geez, maybe if i put on a bald cap and roll up my sleezes i can get a show too

As far as CNBC goes, Mark Haynes and Santelli and the only ones that somewhat understand the markets. As soon as power lunch comes on I start jabbing forks into my eyeballs.

I think unfortunately people like Dennis Kneale sometimes end up being right, but just for the wrong reasons. Everything right now is liquidity driven and dips are being bought regardless of the outlook.
