I though, I was clear. 1. Greece has export. 2. That is a different economy. Hotels, bars, restaurants do not rely on export, like industrial factories. (And they can be a lot more profitable.)

Are you a Greek or only naive? Greece exports agricultural products. It is a tourist destination, where foreigners spend there's vacation savings. As such they don't have to export, people import hard currencies to custom the local goods.
