Current pricing (maybe down to 1.5250) has held for the last 4 tests back to September 2010. If we get upside surprise on the NFP then USD will maybe weaken. However we have had some depressing numbers today and that may carry more weight...

The most interesting thing, imho, is that when the US opened - nothing happened! ...except cable continues a local down-slide. Although I guess we must wait for the stock market to open....

There is support at 1.5630~50 off which cable has bounced twice last week. Whilst Sterling has undoubtedly been going down for a while it is worth considering that you might wait for the NFP before becoming too bearish.
