smikester replied Dec 5, 2007Charlies — Hi Charlies. A good trade. A brave trade. But when you took the trade the M30 and H1 were above 80? When you say lower time frames wre you looking at lower than M15? How much did the 1 hour pin bar influence you? Were you also ...

smikester replied Dec 5, 2007Posts — Morning Marcin. Good examples shown. And I do take your point - not to be greedy - no way to tell if you are in a "perfect" set up with this method. Looking to this morning, high volatility could give us a few good trades.

smikester replied Dec 4, 2007You are right — Hi Pippopotamus.
You are right. I have scanned my notes and I should have waited for it to enter the 76.4 area and exit again. Thanks for pointing that out. I suppose I am lucky that the pair is not moving much at all, so i ...The Art of Trading with MTF Stochastics

smikester replied Dec 4, 2007I think you are right to be cautious. I am not sure it's going to happen. H4 stochastics and RSI pointing sharply up. RSI's in other (lower) time frames too high. It will be interesting to see the stochs at the turn of the hour.

smikester replied Dec 4, 2007Hi marcin - EU — That was an horrendous trade. I did the same as you. Even the H4 stochastic was pointing down and all the rsi's looked right to me. I was so annoyed when it reversed. I had set a stop loss of 30 pips (which I consider to be ...

smikester replied Nov 28, 2007Don't get me wrong, — I think tkimble would have had a 150 pip trailing stop in the January scenario and (I haven't looked back) made a few hundred extra pips. It seems to me that if we know about this phenomenon - it's as though the indicator ...
