Agreed...a bit messier than ideal for those who entered yesterday (myself included), but the respective supports have held so far.

LOL - as usual, I sse it the other way - I took the other half, seeing a solid R/R protected by the recent low at the channel bottom in an uptrend, signaled by a 4-hour rejection of lower levels quite near the target of the 4-hour SHS, aka, a pin of ...

I like the R/R of EURUSD and it's friends here. Even if they run out of gas, positions here stopped at the recent extremes won't cost much, but could prove quite profitable.

Took a couple of days off. USDJPY still holds interest, as the TL seems broken. The E/J has a bit of a wick, but the close to me is supportive and I am holding longs there as well. I also like A/D above the PB, and E/D at the bottom of that channel ...

I do like the look of the weekly USDJPY..will be alert for a breakout of the current triangle. E/J also of great interest again in here.

Indeed....be careful! You are sitting on a trendline even on that timeframe. I may take the other half of that one.

Must say I like the look of weekly D/J off of the small nosed but well located PB and will remain long. Struggling at the triangle at the moment

Good work. The E/D chart is similar; A/D had already broken the corresponding level.

As noted in the past I am not a fan of the engineered PB against the trend. More often than not the third day will be the re-entry day.

Looking at E/J above 135.50 for supportive PA which we see at the moment

That's not unreasonable actually, although one has to be nimble and non-greedy. Coincidentally, I have taken some off the table today. Not compelled to enter counter trend, but at some point, obviously, there will be a profitable counter-trend hits ...

I've taken a bit off the table in the Continental/Commodity pairs markets. Will likely look for supportive PA at the trendlines for re-entry, backed by the S/R levels if given the chance.

Intraday traders may like the look of short Loonie on the 4-hour. Reaction may give a clue as to the substance of the daily pause. I'll be watching AUD as well, as it has been a leader lately. USDCHF remains above the initial resistance, however, ...

Overall, I find this a good thought. One looks like a star at times when grabbing the quick reversal, but it takes more mental anguish and better money management skills to succeed consistently. These are probably best viewed as quick pops for the ...

Dan, Thanks - Indeed, there were several major players either confused or behind the curve as to the EUR and CHF related USD trades as of last week. The daily charts are imposing, and this technical fact combined with the lack of prior consensus is ...

Yes, believe it or not, I am looking at the short side of the Yen as risk aversion flows desist. It's a matter of having a view and waiting for supportive PA. Besides, I don't want to chase the other markets at this stage. From a practical ...

Indeed, I see that. Just letting that ride and searching for new opportunities. You were asking about stops earlier - on USDCAD I have moved from intraday to daily and now weekly stops. That way I have little to worry about on the micro level. Take ...

I am encouraged by the PA from the Continentals and Commodity currencies as they run into longer term S/R; AUDUSD has run relatively easily through it's weekly 50 fibo and exceeded the target from the weekly double bottom to my eye. Overall, I ...

Indeed, I am watching that chart as well; my bias is for an opportunity to the long side. Just letting the others run, as things are getting a bit frenetic. I do see potential in EURJPY still.
