Xaron replied Dec 15, 2009No and yes. The thing is that the US just can (and will continue to) print money until they have no debts anymore. This is a win-win situation for the US. Weaker Dollar helps the exports and lower the debts. Only the foreign debts holders... well... ...

I just repeat it once more: Yes the EU is in deep sh1t as well. The difference is that our debts are domestic debts so no worry about that. The US just has only one chance to refinance that stuff: printing money.EURUSD

Xaron replied Dec 15, 2009I just take out that part because I often hear that the EU has much larger debts problems like the US. I agree that the EU has large debts problems but those debts are mostly domestic debts. That makes a big difference!
