You know Bakker, the thing with SMA/EMA is that everybody cooks his/her own soup and that is why at times it works perfectly and sometimes not. I combine for e.g. Ema and SMA but the readings at times are misleading. And the crossing is only valid ...

Bakker, like I wrote above, I have tried so many be it; HA, Ichimoku, Renko etc, but I still comeback to pure Candle sticks.

Well Bakker, investing a few $$ (~$47 on Amazon) for education will surely pay-off using candle sticks. FYI, I am just saying from personal experience. So if gc44 is better reading trends without market psychology, well that is up to him/her. BTW ...

How do you follow Trend? Bar charts? Lines?. I have tried everything I could find but I still comeback to Candle Sticks. I would recommend Steve Nison for starters. Happy Reading!

Yeah, I assume my earlier optimism has diminished but as gc44 wrote, margin calls and gap at weekend seems unlikely .... (fingers crossed)....
