This is my current hrly fib map - the intraday fib support/resistance levels containing price for now. I wouldn't be tempted with a long before a clean break of the intraday long fib, above 672.

Nice one. Did you enter on a break of the long AL after the initial test of the DZ and/or a later break of the DZ?...be interested to find out what your decision making was as this one progressed through the inner fibs. Many thanks.

I was referring to the break of today's swing long fib.

I went long on the break of the swing fib, but just closed for +2. Get the feeling cable needs to 'reset' south a bit more before resuming it's next romp North....so trading longs cautiously at this level and happy to 'scalp' for a while until ...

Your pip +ve, which is all that counts to my mind. I'm conscious now after watching how cable seems to cycle to T1s that it may well take the rest of the day for price to 'reset' and provide a decent entry for the next T1....especially as an average ...

Morning all, Still out and watching. I wasn't convinced enough on the hrly break of yesterday's long fib to take it earlier. I want to see more definitive long trend action, HL/HH and a break for instance on that TF before gunning for the T1 ...

Good luck GM. My guess it's 50/50 but if it's within your risk tolerance then you're trading your plan. Are you live or demo with the multi lot 'scalps'? 1am here now and need some kip. Until London open, Good night y'all

Which other pairs do you keep an eye on, BO? I seem to remember you don't use the same approach on GBP/JPY?

Hi, probably nothing stopping you at all - my preference though is to use the full range of the day (thus far) once a retracement appears to be building.

...this sort of targeting never ceases to amaze me. Yesterday's T1 now hit and also came within 1 pip of Monday's T1...now need to get a few more robust entry, initial stoploss and money management rules in place.

I should learn to trust those T1's more...came within 4 pips of yesterday's T1 back there. 'Fear' still getting the better of me and i'm doing this for a living

Hope they'll oblige and nudge it down further for you. If the last hour's candle/bar hadn't been a hammer, I would have taken another short off today's short fib after the news. I'll wait now though to see if today's pivot and long fib are tested ...

Indecision setting in now before the news in 5mins. I'll be moving stops down to above the current hammer before release. Stopped out now for +20. Onto the next setup ie a close below today's short fib.

Yes, they're forecasting GBP weakness from that report. I've learnt not to pay to much attention to forecasts though and just use them as a heads up for timing increased volatility.

I'd be up for this, Jared. I think it's a good idea. I feel more familiar now with the market fib map, just need to navigate it more accurately to make consistent money. I'm about to leave home for the office now, so will catch up later this morning ...
