Price replied Aug 9, 2011Well... OK, Euro and Pound are often said to be 'correlated'. (They're close neighbors and they're both trading against the USD). so it makes sense. If I'm looking for a long trade in one of those pairs, for example, I will compare them side-by-side ...

Price replied Aug 9, 2011Those are just weekend spreads. There's no trading on the weekend. Most brokers just close up shop. At least Oanda stays open. Context, man. And yes, I can believe high spreads on a weekend when every liquidity provider is closed.

Price replied Aug 9, 2011OK, this is making sense to me now. Or, at least the reasons why you doggedly despise TA makes sense. Those are examples of friggin indicators. Now I agree with you. It's just another one of those "different definition of terms" discrepancies. So ...

Price replied Aug 7, 2011OK, just to clarify... On #1: I pay attention to certain periods of the day. (i.e.) market open times, and a few others I've found interesting. However, I don't just "go long at 7am" or anything like that. All trades are whatever the charts are ...

Price replied Aug 7, 2011OK, The only thing I said will "always happen" is traders taking opposite positions. One buys... another sells. And Yes, that will always happen. To the rest of the talk about angry TA traders not explaining why it works.... I still say you're just ...

Price replied Aug 6, 2011I thought about it some more. On trading is hard vs. trading is easy. I think it's both. I think it can be very hard and it can also be, at times, quite easy. Certainly it is hard at first and gets easier as you go along. This is true with any ...

Price replied Aug 6, 2011Couple ideas. If you're looking for the alert to fire as soon as the price crosses the line, just set the fast ema to 1 or 2. If you're looking for the alert to fire as soon as the two MA's of choice cross, but on, say a 1 hour chart, it takes an ...
