With Fed out of the picture temporarily, Will we see big moves on the major news releases or will they slow down?

Straddled the USD/JPY and nailed the short for 45 pips!!

FOMC trade

I got filled and stopped 45 seconds prior to the announcement. Like a trooper, I waited for the pullback and ended up with a nice profit for the day. Thanks MM for your guidance. Next time, I'll set those orders a bit wider. Booyah Baby!

NFP Results....

I got filled 45 sec prior at 1.2806 and quickly stopped at 1.2793. It's criminal. Fortunately, I played the pull-back and made money.

Suzuki, I think you're missing the point of the straddle strategy. I would suggest you re-read the entire thread and continue learning. Makes no sense to buy and sell 3 hours prior to the news reports. Cheers,
