ecTrade replied Mar 24, 2010Okay, I think I figured out the problem here. I continued to update the EA (and compiled it) which was modifying all the open versions at the same time. It didn't appear to affect anything, except I had to go back and reset Option_0_4 on all open ...

ecTrade replied Mar 23, 2010This is the whole point behind opening multiple trades so, you are effectively playing "catch up." But, it does work. It won't work very well, however if, like I say, if you are using more than one version. And yes, the Power Lots should be working, ...

ecTrade replied Mar 23, 2010If you want to defeat it, set Max_Trades to "1." It sounds like you (tulipevierge) don't want to have more than one trade open at a time anyway, so ... But, at least this way, if you still want to run multiple versions, you can still do so.

ecTrade replied Mar 23, 2010Don't Run Multiple Versions ... Just Yet — Hey, if you guys are out there, don't run multiple versions of this at once. I have the Equity Target based upon the overall Account Equity, which is okay if you are only running one version. But, if ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Well, I was only thinking double TP, because that's all I intended to do. I didn't realize I had done the same thing to the SL. Yes, now you have the option to set it either way. We all have our own preferences, and it's probably better to stick ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Oh, you don't have to set the stop loss in order to use the trailing stop by the way. Did you know that?

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010If we get it setup right, yeah, I think the indicator will work great. Definitely. In fact I expect to get something going here real quick on a scaled down version, using five or six pairs with smaller lots. Do you mean Dazz and Dazz Plus? Of course ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Okay, that was easy enough to fix. I just added the SL option with the TP option to the doubler without realizing it. All I had to do was delete the variable. That was probably the easiest fix so far.

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Is that with the trailing stop or, with out it? I tried it without it and it wasn't doing too good but, when I tried it with it, it's actually doing pretty good.

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Well, I just tested it with the Take Profit value doubler on (versus it being off) when using the trailing stop, and there's about a 50% improvement when I leave it on. So I think I'll just leave it the way it is. Or, I can always add the option to ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Oops, that was another test I was running. Now I don't recall which one it was? They still wound up with about the same profit though, except the other had a profit factor of almost 12, and this one had a profit factor of 3.71. I think the other one ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010So, have you tried it with Option 4? (the switcher). That's mainly what I've been working with lately. In one case, where I was using Lot option 3 (current setting), the profit factor went all the way up to 12 practically (11.8 or something like ...

ecTrade replied Mar 22, 2010Yes, that is correct. But like I said, it doesn't really matter at this point. Or, if it becomes an issue, I can always change it. No, I'm not sure what you are talking about? Where is this showing up, in the Journal? It can't (or won't) delete it ...

ecTrade replied Mar 20, 2010What, these are custom functions and you put them in every EA? Where do you put them, in the header? (as opposed to init or start). I didn't know you could do that? although I have worked with JaveScript before, and have done something similar. 35K ...
