Exodus commented Jun 5, 2013Just read an article on MarketWatch, Japanese companies are bloated with staff and apparently ham-strung with respect to down-sizing. If that obstacle is removed then higher unemployment must follow and that will do nothing for retails sales.

Exodus replied Jun 4, 2013Thank you. The mechanism { QE = floating money = stocks up } is well understood. The question I asked was why { stocks down = money removal } because one might think that sellers of stocks would then have lots of Yen and that should weaken the Yen.
