Pirin replied Jan 23, 2008I'm losing my bullish sentiment on this pair, although 5 period QQE on the daily says "Buy", the patterns are definitely bearish.
GBP/JPY for QQE Traders!

Pirin replied Jan 23, 2008It was last week's major resistance for 3 days when the gbp tried to get a breath, never got broken. As it does not have enough power to get to the weekly resistance pivot imo, that seems a suitable place for a TP.

Pirin replied Jan 22, 2008I'm targeting 211.80 - 212.10 area. How do you guys use the momentums ? I've read auslanco's tutorial and back tested it but never got any satisfying results out of the momentum (generally daily analysis).

Pirin replied Jan 21, 2008With constantly falling unemployment (rising salaries) and GDP with a constant surplus above 2,5 % I think that the inflation IS caused by productivity. But that is not so important, the question is that the inflation is rising in general and that ...

Pirin replied Jan 21, 2008Although the PPI for Germany was slightly negative, that doesn't mean that the ECB will cut rates, 2007 has been a great year for the EU-Zone and inflation rose to 3,1 % (The ECB's goal is to keep it not higher than 2 %). There was a little pullback ...

Pirin replied Jan 20, 2008USD is overdone imo. Rate cuts is 100 % sure, President Bush's injection of 145 billion is a not enough to move anything on the market, the dollar is way overpriced for a reason that I must admit is unknown for me (I blame mostly the US Treasuries) ...

Pirin replied Jan 18, 2008It's about people who praise themselves as professional traders but do not share a single call or thought about how the market is going to come off in their opinion. The question is if there is any point in being on the forum, when you do not share ...
Cable Update (GBPUSD)

Pirin replied Jan 18, 2008I don't know about that, -0,4 % is a serious drawback and a sure sign of a slowing economy. The consumer sentiment coming out later may slow the usd a little, but in the short term i do expect a falling gbp.

Pirin replied Jan 18, 2008You may have a point there, it is really odd that AJ and Kiwi were boosted more than expected for a correction, but you have to admit that they both have the best of news, that could be a reason for an early bullish sentiment .

Pirin replied Jan 18, 2008I say we put FXDaily in charge of the ECB... that's a sure way to push the eur/usd above 1.50. And the best thing is we are always going to know in advance when he is going to make a move, because he will spam all over the forum
