Depends how far this oversold bounce runs. Perfect bounce off the monthly TL in fiber, I think it's going to retrace to at least the weekly TL at 1.44 - 1.45. Correlative point on kiwi would be roughly 6850.

Could get interesting here. All the majors had big reversal days today, hit intraday multi-month lows and closed higher. What with a Lehman verdict due in the next 24 hours and rumors on the credit desks of a surprise rate cut, I'd say we're looking ...

One of my favorite swing pairs. Here's a handy link showing yen cross positioning at a major Asian FX dealer. Fwiw, N/J positions have dropped over 60% (it was recently >225k contracts & 98% net long = prepped to fall hard). After the major daily TL ...

I believe that did happen to a degree, as NZD/JPY long positions are no longer a negative swap as they once were.

That's just the total of the bid side, the offer side total is cut off. Again, giving them the benefit of the doubt, that's during the Asian session and any orders could be reserve/Iceberg orders.

Recently tested the live feed, was a bit underwhelmed by the both the depth and spreads. Shot from last week here. Granted that's the Asian session, but NY/Euro wasn't very different from a depth-of-book perspective. Most Currenex hubs (as well as ...

Well offering a public L2 is pretty much a mainstay of being an ECN. It isn't really necessary per se, but I haven't encountered an ECN that didn't offer a L2/DOM feed. *** Going back to my original post, today is a perfect example of the market ...

I use it occasionally to get an idea of the net positioning of retail clients. The L2 display on MBT's platform is limited to 10 levels deep, however if you view it in a 3rd party app, it will show you all levels (all client limit orders at any ...

Almost a replica of 8/13 playing out here, N/J sold off 2% (huge daily move) to major technical support, then reverses like a bat out of hell.

Exactly. We double bottomed on G/J at the '08 low (12 hours ago), triple bottomed on N/J, and hit trendline support on A/J. With equities up >1% in europe and US futures, I don't see these major carry support levels being taken out today. N/J and ...

The same was true on 8/13, nonetheless the pair was still good for a 400 pip rally. It just depends on your time horizon.

Interesting strategy. Just a couple of thoughts.. Technically, daily pivots should be calculated based upon the 24-hr session that closes at 17:00 ET / 21:00 GMT. Using that setup could strengthen your results. Also, with such straightforward order ...

It's interesting, I have those spreads on my demo as well. Though on the mobile demo, the spreads are 2-3 wide. I'm not sure what to make of that, if anything. It is peculiar how good the spreads are on the regular demo, what with Ikon being a DD. ...

Yes Interactive. Min deposit is $10k. There's the full contract and the mini-Heng Seng contract (which is less liquid). Spread ranges on the full contract range from 0-6 points, average I'd say is 3 points. Here's a brief T&S capture from last ...

Thanks for getting back to me Justin. Now I'm curious as to how HS and IB handle client-to-client trades, as their ECNs are in-house, which would put them at odds with the aforementioned CFTC rules.. Could you confirm the margin limitations on ...

Ah MT4-based no, I'm not aware of any MT4-based shop that trades the actual futures of any exchange, they're all just CFDs. I track the HSI futs on IB.

Why trade the CFDs and not the actual futures themselves? 20 point spread is robbery..
