roni, keep on reading, you are not to the second posted v1.18 Orest EA, or screenshot of banana's settings, or posted presets of banana's settings. I came in in the early 70's (pages), and those happened after I arrived here.

banana, if you are trading one mini lot per pair, then the first locking numbers are: it should lock 50.00 when 100.00 hit. If you were trading one micro lot per pair, then it should lock 5.00 when 10.00 is hit. But what if you aren't trading one ...

frank, I guess I'll put it like this: If I'm in a sell, I may have a stoploss, and I may have profit-locking, but if I get a signal for the other direction, I'm getting out with the profit I have and am going to go in the other direction. I ...

I just had to restart my system, and guess what? When I restarted MT4s, Orest EA closed my unprofitable Sell trades that were open on one broker, and started Buy trades on both brokers. My question: Why didn't it do that a lot earlier? Why did it ...

Hey everyone. I did look inside profitprotect EAs that I found in an archive online. I compared the values trader101 said that locking was to be done, with the actual code I saw in those EAs. The numbers were different. If trader101 had posted the ...

banana, dr_zeus is right. If you are using 0.2 (I assume a standard account with 2 mini lots per pair), then it's more like 300 pips in a couple hours. still, that's great. I also wondered which preset file you posted is the one you are actually ...

Orest, The thing is here, that I think Fibs should work on ANY basket. Why? What are Fibs? Fibs show turning points in prices. Baskets are nothing but buying everything or selling everything. Don't need a hedge for that. But the hedge/making Buys ...

I don't use that method. That is one of multiple entry strategies that I've seen that are profitable. Profit-locking is the one of the keys to profitability no matter what strategy you trade.
