I dont analyze fundamentals. I analyze the outcome of one very spike and whether the trend overwhelmed it or not. I dont care if the news are positive or negative, only about where the spike rebounded on the chart.

There is a way to blend news spikes into your technical analysis tools. I do it all the time and it adds quite a lot of info to the whole picture.

This trade lost gas halfway through after a rather swift thrust down at London open. The whole second half of London was boring and range bound. I dislike flat-lined markets so I exited at +5 pips. Very quiet and boring day as far as I am concerned.
