PeterE replied May 8, 2012this is the only trade so far for me, i'm short at 3023 1:3 RR might be the rules, but it places TP just below support, perhaps 1:2.5 is more sensible ........nevertheless, so far so good +15

PeterE replied May 7, 2012buying Aussie on Monday (719GMT) was also a good trade buy @ 0149 SL @ 0135 (3 pip drawdown) TP @ 0191 (+42) i think this meets Paulus' rules, except applied to Aus .

PeterE replied May 7, 2012perhaps tweak RR, 1:2, when SL is bigger or exit at daily pivot, or other etc i know this is obvious to you, but x3 seems a little arbitrary, is it statistically backed?? ..........and this trade is still surviving

PeterE replied May 7, 2012ok, your bias is taken from previous 2 hrs only SL, personally a bit of room below/above S/R is preferrable (5 on EURUSD).........and this trade is surviving entry 3009 SL 2989 (and trail!) TP 3069 .

PeterE replied May 3, 2012In theory, Marv is probably right, you would think there should be no slippage on limit orders. But in reality, real live ECN trading, it’s not the case. Perhaps it’s related to price moving very quickly, triggering your order, then instantly moving ...

PeterE replied May 3, 2012Marv, how many times do i have to defend myself against your misinformation i've told you already that i have been slipped on limit orders with Duka if you actually traded you would know that this happens with Duka

PeterE replied May 3, 2012you shouldnt be getting slipped on micros, its virtual trading i also wouldnt expect to be getting slipped on a 10 lot position, when its a limit order placed hours ago .........given Duka claim to have outstanding liquidity
