Vantage replied Jun 16, 2009Hi Royston Many thanks on the TLv4, great stuff. I'm using that on 5 min chart as I've posted on the hl, lh thread. Is there any chance you could pop over there for a look url .

Vantage replied Jun 15, 2009I just thought I'd post the latest version of hl/lh set ups that we are using. We have loaded on the HAMA indi. Its basically a 21 ema but is kind enough to change colour up and down. I have loaded a light blue 21 ema which you can see hugs the HAMA ...

Vantage replied Jun 15, 2009An interesting morning so far we've sold gu at 1.6345, eu 1.3898, ej 136.81 and a re-entry on gu 1.6325. Internet connection going haywire so I might be out of trading for a bit.

Vantage replied Jun 13, 2009Trailing stops — Trend magic not the answer I don't think. You could just as easily put on the HAMA indi (which is just a 21 ema coloured for up and down) or an 8 ema as hercs suggested on the first page. Sorry hercs ended up being a very good ...

Vantage replied Jun 12, 2009From the eurgbp trend magic thread will put this in for consideration, possible use as a stop loss level. I'd still take some partial profits along the way. I've made 0 lime and 1 red. 2 and 3 black.

Vantage replied Jun 11, 2009On force 5, it works really well. For me in particular as lower highs and higher lows and bounces from key levels e.g. round numbers and daily/weekly pivots. Just wanted to add that during last few days there's been 5 odd lh/hl trades with these ...

Vantage replied Jun 11, 2009There was 1 set up we liked on 1 min system this am, ej. After a lot of wicks the solid close candle confirmed a lower high, we were lucky enough to be watching and waiting for a good close candle (as opposed to another small body large range ...

Vantage replied Jun 11, 2009Mrs V is warming more and more to FH trades. Two lovely hammers (at key levels our fave candle) gave signals. Entries 1 pip above/below candle.

Vantage replied Jun 10, 2009Trading higher lows and lower highs I love. The simplicity of your charts using round/half numbers and the 72/25 levels just boggles my brain!! Great trading as usual, damn looks like I'm getting up earlier from here. Thanks for HMA will play around ...

Vantage replied Jun 10, 2009Always a pleasure watching your work. Looks like I'll have to get in front of the computer a little earlier. I missed a nice move just before FO. Could you post that hull ma that you are using? Keep those trades (and charts) coming!! Cheers.

Vantage replied Jun 9, 2009We did not look at ej, although it also had a nice 1 hr hammer that was made with a lower low. Eu also had 2 1 hr hammers like the pound but the daily candle for yesterday was not as positive as gu.

Vantage replied Jun 9, 2009After a nice up day yesterday and 2 x 1 hr hammers at the daily pivot and 38% retrace of y's range we focused on gu buys. One of the dis-advantages of indicators is the lag that can happen. On 5 min chart after the big red candle push down it will ...

Vantage replied Jun 8, 2009Oh my previous employers (from 3 years ago this August) asked me to come in for a big but brief project. Don't know how long this mornings meeting will take so I might be finished for the day.
