Deano9999 commented Jun 29, 2012Watch for the Chinese PMI on Sunday to perhaps put a dampener on things - Europhoria only lasts a few days, and next week could be back to normality.

Deano9999 commented Jun 29, 2012If you're gonna trade the EUR, go long again tonight not short. But be warned - the europhoria will only last till Sunday when the Chinese PMI comes out, then go short next week. Too twitchy for me, I'm sticking with the unrelated crosses.
Financial ‘Armageddon’ Will Happen Despite EU Deal: Jim Rogers

Deano9999 commented Jun 28, 2012The result was the only one left to the EU leadership, especially when failure was to go over the cliff, so if you weren't long today then you weren't reading the tea leaves properly. Nothing like a quick 100 pips profit to close the week, lol.

Deano9999 commented Jun 17, 2012We're reaching the "come to Jesus (or Allah)" moment when everyone needs to sort out their debt problems because no-one is left to help them. Austerity and taxes (a dirty word but very necessary) are the only ways to re-balance economies for ...

Deano9999 commented Jun 14, 2012Old news, and it sounds suspiciously that dailyfx has a vested interest in a higher euro? There is just so much noise around eur at present, so either stay out or put on body armour and a crash helmet and wade in short with a big stop, as any ...

Deano9999 commented Jun 12, 2012Can't agree with you guys. The market can't even hold above 1.25 at present. Lets watch the nylon session, but I respectfully suggest that any close around 1.25 indicates only a bearish bias, and that this so called important support level of 1.2435 ...
EUR, To Be Long or Short?
-
Deano9999 commented Jun 12, 2012The GBP seems to be defying gravity as its seen as a safe haven. Heaven help us if a currency of a country in its worst recession in 40 years is seen as a safe haven! For all that it should fall through 1.54 to around 1.5330 before rallying.

Deano9999 commented Jun 6, 2012Just confirms that no solution is in sight until they go right to the edge of the cliff and peer over to see whats ahead of them! Euro at 1.25 is a dead cat bounce, just waiting for the next fall towards 1.22.

Deano9999 commented May 24, 2012I'll take that bet, never underestimate the ability of politicians to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and just kick the can down the road. Never believe a word a Greek politician says, so ANY Greek govt will grovel sufficiently to stay in the ...

Deano9999 commented May 23, 2012The EURO can expect a dead cat bounce (if any at all) from Grexit, but then the problem is Spain, where unemployment is still rising and property crashing with almost no bottom, resulting in a bankrupt banking system. So the EURO will never see 1.30 ...
