myfxbook used to support Oanda (without metatrader) but not any longer as of late, and it's Oanda's fault. "Guys, we’ve been waiting patiently for about a year now to receive an API from Oanda which will allow us to solve the expiring connection ...

You realize you just quoted a 7 year old post? Anyway, of these two I would definitely recommend Oanda.

You are absolutely correct. When I was new to this business, his material impressed me because it made a lot of sense. But I realized later that what he's preaching about is nothing more than commonsense. For example he talks about how individual ...

If you're unprofitable (i.e. if you can't produce a real quantifiable edge), then no "low leverage" will help you, only make you go broke much slower. That is what I do. 100:1 is the ideal leverage. To whoever said the only safe brökers are American ...

Non-US client here. Execution is good, deposits/Withdrawals work as expected, customer service is one of the best so far. I have used NT in the past but not with MBT. You'll probably find some NT/MBT users in the NT forums. Good luck

FXTrade's fault, not Java's fault. There are other Java platforms that work just fine. Currenex is one, a very professional platform. Java is also used in other professional/institutional-level types of applications. I used it for a while with no ...

I already moved on to another bröker months ago, I just kept a smaller balance with Oanda for some long-term positions (which is not really my main focus).

Spreads are the "house edge". For a short-term trader/daytrader, they matter (and should matter) due to their influence in the long run. Let's say a person trades with bröker A with 1 pip average spread. This person: - has $10k in their account - ...

Whatever happened to the 0.9 spread on EUR/USD? Looks like it's been permanently raised (without telling clients). The dominant spread is no longer 0.9, it's higher for some reason. Okay I'm gonna admit it: Something has happened to Oanda, and I ...

Statistically speaking: The smaller your timeframe, the higher the "house edge" (the effect of spreads) against you; and vice versa. The smaller your timeframe, the quicker the true underlying expectancy (edge or lack thereof) will manifest itself ...
