jhathawa replied Jul 15, 2006The more volatile pairs with bigger ranges (GBP and CHF) seem to do the best with the 150 or 300 S/L and the wins are consistently more than 10 to 1 on all the timeframes I've tried. Just my observation on backtesting v1.1 so far.

jhathawa replied Jul 15, 2006small correction — Actually GBP turns out well also with 77W/4L from 1/1/06 - 7/13/06 turning 10k into 15.85k but EURO and JPY don't do much of anything. So it looks like GBP and CHF with the settings I have listed above work well.

jhathawa replied Jul 13, 2006I hope this isn't a dumb question but what do you mean by "enter your trade at the bounce". Are you referring to the MACD changing from pos to neg on a certain timeframe ? thx

jhathawa replied Jul 8, 2006ACM offers OCO and if/then but I think they only allow minimum 100k lots, not even 10k lots. They have the smallest spreads also that I've seen. But of course they don't meet all your requirements.

jhathawa replied Jul 7, 2006I'm sure you are right that the EURO will meander and probably reverse soon but I'm trying my hardest to stick to my system and hold until it tells me otherwise. Its an auto-trade system so it will do as it needs without me telling it too
