Hmm.... i just play it as i see it on my feed. I don't use Oanda charts however i assumed there was never a gap there as it displayed weekend activity.

gpb/usd gap 1hr — Just wondering if anyone played the gap? No specific PA just a fill with the trend with some resistance and the 150ma.

gbp/chf — Since i favor PA trades with the trend i was tempted by this PB indicating a continuation of the trend... it did bounce of resistance but not enough space to suggest a high probability of moving my SL to BE so i am passing.

g/u pins — I missed the juicy 4hr pins including the g/u pictured below... but i am planning on taking the daily pin. Not much of a swing high but with the trend and bouncing off a trendline. I think if it breaks than a very good chance to ...

4hr trendlines — Keeping my eye on these 4hr trendlines, maybe there will be some PA to indicate a bounce and resume with the trend?

I will admit i am not the sharpest knife here. But i am really confused on setups like this. Yes it is a PB and on the daily TF which i find are fairly reliable, even ones in bad positions i can often get to BE at least. However with all those bar ...

For me this is a beovb on possible small retracement with trend. I would have preferred the retracement to the 1.93 or 1.94 area however a peek at the 4 hour chart suggested a small breakout at around 1.84. I may take this on the 4 hour at 1.84 with ...

Thanks alot for stating your piece Mike. "That is the difference in my opinion b/w a pin in traffic, and a pin not in traffic. They both offer opportunities, but it is how you handle your trade mgmt which is going to decide your profitability." That ...

RvsR — I have to admit all though i understand Jim's comments on the chart very well i don't understand how to always apply mm to it. The Thursday pin was 271 pips. If you took the pin on a clean break of say 15 pips you would have a short ...

e/j pin — I took this daily pin on the break during last nights asian session however this morning when i noticed price had moved 200 pips in profit only to quickly snap back to put me in negative territory. Working with a b.roker like Oanda ...

So you placed 1.7535 as a limit sell and went to bed? In many cases price won't retrace that deep on your pin... are you not scared that you will miss a good trade?

easy trades... mismanaged — Your right Jarroo. But simple minded people myself can still mismanage these trades. An example is Eur/Jpy. I entered of the break of the daily PB yesterday and when i was up about 130 pips i moved my SL from the ...

Pin's on daily TF, signaling end of retracement and continuation of trend are my favorite PA setups. If G/U and some of these yen pairs shape up i am in. I am still pretty basic so i am not sure if i would enter off of the break or on a fib ...

Hmm. Well in my mind the EA would move the stop loss quite aggressively so in the end it would probably turn out to be more of a 10 or 15 scalping method rather than a breakout trade. I realise this is not what DIBS is about so i will stop here. I ...

EA? — In my opinion DIBS is a very attractive method of trading, very simplistic "system wise" and it has built in MM as well. I love how it controls your losses while at the same time giving your such upside potential. I speak as one who has ...

Usd_Cad 2nd pin — Well i did not take the 1st pin, never did like this pair. But with two pins and dollar weakness a possibility in other pairs i am think i will take this one next week. 1st target 1.0400 at the 23.6 fib. Not sure about the ...

dollar bull over or just a retracement? — Hello all I am sure you have scoped out the pin on Eur/Usd already. While not perfect i thought it was interesting that it bounced on a 50 fib and 150 ema quite nicely. I don't know if this means the ...
