Without real spreads,commission and leverage the beta testing wouldn't make sense. At the moment it's nothing different than dealing with an MM. ![]()
Liquidity isn't a problem with real ECNs. ;-) You claim that MBT offers more liquidity and customers than other competitors. But your spreads are mostly 1pip+ higher than the others especially versus Hotspot - that's a little bit strange. ;-) I ...
Another question: is the platform Java-based? I don't hope so.
Very important question! For example on USD/JPY: MBTrading demands for an 100.000 unit order a Round-Turn commission of 10$. That is very expensive!!
You're absolutely right. Just compare spreads during news times and you see it clearly - price manipulation and trading is hold. I would never trade with market maker or deal desk.
Normaly market orders. Haven't any problems yet.
For heavy scalpers, I would vote it like that: 1.Hotspot 2.IB 3.Dukascopy 4.EFX/MBT I mostly get the price on Hotpsot that i see. Slippage is rare.
