A failed trade of mine — The rule CW highlighted a few pages back about giving your trades time and being patient would be paying off for me in this stock trade, if I'd followed it. I am very skittish going long any equity right now. Got into ...

Looking at the the AJ and NJ, both look nice and are at PPZ. If you are looking to short AJ or NJ, then some would want the one that is weakest, rather than take both. Under these circumstances, based on what I've learned here, you can look at the ...

NZD$$ — I got in on this due to the PA in the blue box. I don't know if it has a name but I liked the way the 2nd bar closed very near its low, and below the prior bar. I played it like a BEOB. I like the way the daily closed too. Kind of a ...

Yes, bearish PB on weekly and bullish PB on 4h. Would it not be best to either not trade it, or trade only the break of the daily PB, since this would also mean the 4hr PB has just been invalidated?

Yes, thanks. All is well for now. Winters here are more mild than where I am from, but they seem to hold on a bit longer, as evidenced by the dumping we took yesterday. Authorities here are absolutely gawd awful at clearing streets and roads of snow. ...

I agree with Ghous. I looked at that setup that went against you and said "ouch." It looked good to me too but just went against you. Oh well..... At least you traded a nice setup. I lost 8% last week, in part by trading a marginal setup.

I hear you loud and clear, Pak, and think what you are doing is a great idea. I look at the charts and see so many setups that were validated (i.e., entry triggered), then retraced against, and then work out fabulously, and an aggressive entry on ...

I agree, some charts do look like guesses. I have probably been guilty of this myself. But on the other hand, this thread is a learning resource, and good way to learn is by throwing up a chart and presenting your thoughts on where you think price ...

I am bullish this pair long term, but the immediate PA on the 4hr seems bearish to me. I think i might wait for a break of that BUOB on the weekly. You have an aggressive entry there. Hope it pays off for you.

I was looking at USD and EUR ETFs that were spit out by my stock filter. The EUR ETF shorts the euro, and is oversold and at PPZ. The USD bull etf is also oversold and at PPZ. So they seem to agree that the EURUSD is due to head down, at least short ...

I agree. My stock filter has been spitting out every short ETF there is for the last couple days, e.g., small cap, big cap, fincancials, construction, energy, etc., and they all look like good candidates to buy, meaning the overall market looks like ...

Might I suggest adding some roughage to your diet. Musilix might be a nice supplement too. Celery stalks anyone? Does wonders for the gastrointestinal tract.
