Will just have to be careful that we do not put ff site into overload. :-( I am using a couple of brokers and none of them do that at news time - they all stay with the 'normal' spread.

News sometimes 'leaks' before the announced news time, making price move. I also suspect it leaks only to the big institutes/brokers, etc. Other reason could be that the big players pull out just before news time.
