This shit is pre-planned, which is obvious. Why wouldn't the Turkish want to help their exporters, and weaken their own currency. They're probably fed up with euro being too strong. I am not an advocate of such interventions, but they can make sense ...

Looks like a good chance to go short again once it prints 1.3565. I won't go any higher. The only reason the market is letting it go higher is that it has not touched today's high considering the low volumes traded at the moment.

Tell me honestly, anyone. Isn't it easier to leave EU behind and focus on other markets? It seems to me that even with (supposedly) high impact fundamental news, it's always turning into behaving like a commodity, not a currency pair. It seems to me ...

Thanks for being ironic, but take a look at the graph. There's hardly any intraday (or short term) drop not having been followed by a (complete) recovery lately. I know nothing, but it's easy to see that it's worked like that most of the time for ...

Haven't you understood that it ALWAYS behaves like this? It's basically climbing up all the time, and you gotta wait for a drop to go long. It'll work until the bubble blows out hard (but you know what SL is, right?).

You might be right, little eye. But risking 20 pips could be worth trying to go long.

Well, I see a sell opportunity at 1.3720 to 30 (if it gets there within days).

It looks like today's best strategy is no trade as for EU. Anyone has suggestions as for the intraday opportunities?

Nice chute slide, but this thing is gonna go up shotly, right after it gets exhausted.

Nicely forming double bottom for a rally to 1.38 heights or just another attempt to get a lot lower, and we'll just have to wait for another one?

I have spent quite some time watching the pair for three days, and I believe it will spike up to at least 1.3670, but not more than 1.3695 before it goes south quite rapidly.

I did not question the impact much. I was rather talking about the contrast between the reality and the mood. On the other hand, yes, it is (expectations) the only remaining hope for the EU common currency experiment.

Those are only pretty good expectations, and thus markets have not reacted with too much of action. This reminds me of the Soviet Union era - a huge pile of lies about the real developments (which were obviously shi..y, and a lot of efforts to make ...

Is this a roller-coaster, or a technically correct market behavior?

The uptrend looks like it's getting exhausted. Still, I believe it won't stop before 1.38. Perhaps we could see a 35-pip spike down with a quick recovery before it gets higher, just "for the hell of it".

Can you provide a little bit of translation for a dummy? What are the implications?
