kenmania replied Apr 7, 2009A friend of mine told me he got that line from a guy who trades stocks. I never researched it, just threw it on my fib tool and whaddaya know? Price bounces there quite often. Look at the candlestick chart from this post.

kenmania replied Apr 7, 2009I was going by one of the charts Bemac posted so I've just been staying with 15m TF. He would be the best one to ask the question to, but I think we're just trying to find any timeframe where the candles are moving sideways for an extended period.

kenmania replied Apr 7, 2009Add the 47 & 52 levels on the regular fib tool. Then, it might help to identify the channel with a box. Stretch the fib and manipulate it until the 47 & 52 are aligned with the top and bottom of the box (channel).

kenmania replied Apr 7, 2009Yeah, that's just the way I did it. I made a custom fib with your 47 &52 channel and then drew two more regular fibs from the top of the channel to 100% and the bottom of the channel to 100%. You're right, an indicator would make it simpler, but it ...

kenmania replied Apr 7, 2009Hopefully this won't cause confusion, if it does I'll delete the post. I drew the channel (close proximity) that you had in this post. (Yellow box) Then I manually fibbed out what I thought you are talking about. Is this anything close?

kenmania replied Dec 5, 2008I'm going to post another IB indicator, this one with no audible alert, but it seems to be accurate. Maybe if we can add the alert to it? Meantime, I'm deleting my posts about the other indicator, too. Sorry for any confusion.
