SBrickman replied Apr 28, 2008The indicators I am using do not lag. They simple compare current price to open price[x periods ago] to determine trend AS PER JACKO'S teachings. I agree that using multiple time frames whether chart, indicators or both, is useful. How many of you ...

SBrickman replied Apr 28, 2008I just find it easier to look at an indicator that gives me 5 or more time frames than to look at 5 or more charts. All the indicator tells me is what #1 and #2 say. No fancy calculations, just up/down and by how much.

SBrickman replied Apr 28, 2008I never said one needs an indicator. This indicator is just a tool that allows me to quickly see the trend on multiple time frames. IMHO, beats looking at multiple charts. You are using a computer but an old timer wouldn't need a computer to trade, ...

SBrickman replied Apr 28, 2008It is based on Jacko's definition of trend. If the current price is above the open price # bars ago, then trend is up. If the current price is below the open price # bars ago, then trend is down. I found it by google.
