jgoff replied Sep 4, 2008my assumption is that it works the same way our otc forex accounts work. the fed can go in either direction(long or short) just as we can with our USD forex accounts, only it's way easier for them because A) they have direct access to the interbank ...

jgoff replied Sep 4, 2008this would be the long-term effect, but not the short-term in the event that the fed injects massive amounts of money into the market(and they do this often). keep in mind that if they have enough money they make the market swing in any direction ...

jgoff replied Jul 7, 2008did you watch the pfx analysis? for the past 5+ years dollar strength has followed the G8. i'm not saying that this pattern can't be broken, just saying that there is a high probability it will continue.

jgoff replied Jul 7, 2008i just noticed a signal on the 30 minute chart. it could blow up on me but i'll just take the loss and enter another short when it cools off again but switching to the 1hr chart. again reducing risk by keeping my s/l close.

jgoff replied Jul 7, 2008Watch for reaction to G8 — I'm now short at 1.5743 with s/l at 1.5775. I hate going against the trend but dollar strength should follow G8 summit: url
