try turning on counter trend trading as a test, the problem with using the 2/8 daily trend function is it never seems to kick off any trades.

Idea for V12 option to take 50% of the trade off at a certain pip level e.g. take 50% of the trade off at 30 pips.

for me its flat times like this when trading the H4 with TMS comes unstuck, you need good volume. Dropping down to M15 or H1 should give us more chance of catching some pips.

hmmm interesting - I didn't get either of these trades, might take a look at your set file. Looks like your not using the confirm on lower/higher TF settings.

I wonder whether it might be worth adding a H1 trading option in V11 - it might generate more trades and therefore the testing might progress a little quicker. BigE has stated that he only really trades H4 as he's asleep during the London session. ...

hmmm not getting many trades I think I might change my higher TF confirmation from daily to weekly. It could be a nice feature to have a daily or weekly option. E.g. as long as either the daily or weekly is in agreement - it will take the trade.

Damn - just saw that V8 tried and failed to place two trades yesterday on the GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY - both were sweet moves. Assume this will be fixed by the new slippage setting in V10. It did manage to place one on USD/JPY however.
