Ahhh , the trend , which in reality is not really is your friend. The main issue with trend is the moment you identify it , its over. So i never really try to identify it. I just go with the price and its reaction to S/Rs.

Yes, i ignore it. you will eventually have to trade in consolidations/traffic ,because that's what markets do most of the time. Pay attention to the S/Rs and Price action around them, then you wont fear traffic.
