Right, but a buy is closed with a sell and vice versa. As I mentioned, very simple solutions, not a big deal, either remove s/l or t/p or hedge.

Yes, news restriction only applies to funded accounts. If a s/l or t/p is hit during the 2 min window on a restricted instrument, it is considered trading and I believe would violate the account just like any other rule violation. The 2 solutions ...

Yes, you should delete them. If a stop or take profit is hit within that two minute window, it is considered trading during the news as a trade is executed when a sl or tp is hit. THIS WILL VIOLATE THAT RULE AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.

Plus you get it refunded back with your first profit split. If you can get the 300K and then the 25% scaling every 4 months, you're trading a 600K account within 16 months. It's life changing income.

I understood it to be unlimited as long as you end each one in profit with no other rules violated.

Didn't catch that 9.4% the first time. It was verification, so target is only 5%, so I was at 4.4%, not 9.4%.

For the challenge and verification, it's so tempting to finish quickly, so the day where I gave most back was really just over trading. Having confidence in your system is key as I knew I still had 7 weeks if needed, but things worked out over the ...

So well said. In verification I came within $600 of target on day 3, gave almost all back next day and then hit target 4 days later. If you have an overall winning strategy, you will pass EVENTUALLY. I simply needed to adjust position sizes to fit ...

I just got funded, so if you ask in 6 months I will tell you yes. I plan on knocking down 20K per month but that's just me.

Well I'm in the US where skrill (along with every other broker, payment processor, etc) is banned, so there must be other options.

In a perfect world, .5% per day for 20 days will get you 10%. You would be at 2.5% in 5 days. Since this is not a perfect world, some days will be better, some not. To figure what you need per day moving forward, you need 8.2% over 15 days now, so ...

Well, fortunately looks like it was a 10,000 and not a 100,000 account. If you have a winning strategy I would go again, but throw a few bucks in an account with another broker to get your "fix" lol.

Wait, you actually passed all objectives and kept trading? You need to open atleast a small live account elsewhere if you feel the need to keep trading.

Absolutely. IMO, if you're not funded, in challenge/verification/trial OR looking for more info on FTMO, why would you be in this thread? This happens so often on FF, great threads just get polluted.
