LOL - I believe it has to do with that confluence of S/R levels producing that bullish weekly look on your Boss chart! Dynamic and static as you like to put it -- that and the stops above the highs. See if it holds. Should be a long run if it does, ...

Comment? The bus has left. AUDJPY, then USDCAD, then AUDUSD, and now EURUSD. Several of which were selected on this forum I might add. AUDJPY was the trigger - off of that combined static and dynamic support from your noble host I believe.

AUDJPY seems anxious to run after a retest - what is that saying?

Think I may step into USDCHF at this point.

I almost bought some today to hedge my longstanding Euro longs, but, honestly, I need to see a bit more before I buy that one outright. Call it a wedge or a triangle, it is still clinging to weekly support. I have to call the monthly still bearish, ...

Curse me, but I am still in the long camp - AUDJPY I am in agreement Strat. We saved someone some Aussie dollars last night it seems. It still concerns me that there have been 7 straight monthly up closes, but is that really suprising given the ...

The failed ascending triangle made me a few Loonies during the spring - take another look! I am mixed on both the EURUSD and AUDUSD positions at the moment. Will be looking a bit harder at those charts. Two failed large triangles in one year may be ...

Yes, there is so much upside there that it is preferable not to catch the falling knife on this one. A good case for PA and a prepared mind I believe. I am looking very hard at that USDCHF chart to see if my long term EURUSD longs are ready to pack ...

One could argue that an aggressive short stance was warranted after the recent 4 weeks PA, similar to that seen in EURUSD; however, that horse is gone on a trade basis. I would not take it at this level but would either wait for higher failure or or ...

Personally, I think there are better long term trades given the level you identify, commodity prices, etc. I think you are seeing a market that has been up for 6 straight months in need of a breather. For a quick trade, sure.....for an investment, ...

I do see the coming week as one of great opportunity, in contrast to the dribble of many markets recently. Many a pair are sitting on major static S/R re-test points. The JPY crosses are a good example, as are the 2 continentals. The USDCHF chart ...

Indeed, I agree with this. One has to be a good tape reader in the end. Some may get by with highly automated systems, but the essence of this style is chart reading, pure and simple.

Yes, I dusted that one off - no fill though on overall very poor PA here and from E/USD for those with a long sontiment like mine. One word of note - though the close is paramount, EURUSD seems to have really only suffered a late day, low volume ...

Giving a look to EURCHF at the moment....the Daily pattern looks productive to me, as does its recent PA. I would call any productive PA above 1.51 a buy sign. I will buy a close > 1.52 on a weekly basis.
