Why are we digging up a thread from 11 months ago? Hasn't this topic already been beaten to death at this point? WHO CARES, just use whatever you prefer! Which is all I was trying to say (in a roundabout way), thank you for proving my point yet ...
The real macd.. not MT4's

Don't use that indicator, use habeeb's. My weekly pivot calcs using his indicator match the correct ones you generated off that site. Switch MT4 broker feeds if your weekly candles aren't showing up right.

Which MT4 broker are you using? My weekly candles show up fine, Sunday open > Friday close.

$80 is round trip and per million (not 100k). Do you by any chance work for MBT?

Some feeds were open until 3:00am EST to accommodate Asian & Middle Eastern markets being open today. Oanda is of course open 24/7 as well.

QuoteTracker needs backfill server support from the broker in order to show historical data. MBT doesn't support this directly, but it may be possible to populate your charts manually via the MBT SDK. I use IB for backfills. Anyone know why MBT is ...

Not really a surprise I must say, their 1-pip flat spreads seemed like a definite con game.

See that would be logical reasoning, but the markets hate logic! Technicals all the way.

If recent history is any example, the 'surprise' cut of 25bp over expectations means we should see aussie trade up 2-4% today. Turnaround Tuesday anyone?

No displayed size. They claim (as some other MMs do) 10M available per quote, but I really wouldn't want to put that to the test.

100% agreed. Never understood the charting argument when selecting a broker, that's not even a checkmark on my list. Two of my trading venues have no charting whatsoever. There are so many free & fee-based charting packages, it makes no sense to ...

E/J came within 40 pips of hitting my short at the touch of that TL, sooo close.. Now down 180, what a crazy day. See what I mean by not trusting these rallies.

Almost. Took a decent chunk on the downside, but I still can't convince myself to participate much in these rallies, at least until that TL is broken.

On a return of the 'risk trade', prefer aussie and EUR/JPY over kiwi. All 3 are roughly the same trade in this environment (and nearly identical short-term charts). E/J tagged its downtrend TL to the pip at 126.03 (while E/U tagged its former ...

You mean HotSpot FXi wants 100k? I finally tested a live feed of FXi and was completely underwhelmed, terrible spreads & liquidity. FXr is only 10k, but they moved to 20:1 (and spreads there have also fallen behind). If you're getting 4 on kiwi ...
