hollowhead replied Mar 7, 2014EU long T5_2_2 TP met EDIT: Bit premature - 5 pips short actually.
Are support and resistance levels predetermined?

hollowhead replied Mar 7, 2014I'm out of EU longs (my old aversion to round numbers) - remember Bobi implies he allows 7-14 pip shortfall in reaching targets. So I have unlocked my hedge and I'm now holding shorts. If it breaks goes further and holds beyond 1.392, I will ...
Are support and resistance levels predetermined?

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014It just needs to push higher, then all those shorts will reverse convinced its going to print 1.4xxx. Then it will drop. Trapped bulls will panic as it plummets to 1.34, around about which time everyone will be calling for 1.29-1.3 and load more ...

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014I agree Jay - EU has much further up to go, but I can't shake off the T4Y_680 short that hasn't been met. As always an ideal scenario for me would be reaching the 1.39 level and then pulling back to the 680 level and then shooting 1.4xxx ...

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014I see - hope no new traders read the post and followed the BIG BOLD WORDS, and like me didn't open the chart to see the tiny words 'Buy', or even not understand the irony.

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014My apologies - you're right - not sure what happened with my counting !! So, 1.3192 is T4Y_680 signal and 1.3913 is the TP for for T5_2_2. That makes a powerful price!!

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014After much study and pain I submit my rules for interpreting news events. IF its good - market could go up, down, both or not react. If its bad - market could go up, down, both or not react. If it's as expected - market could go up, down, both or ...

hollowhead replied Mar 6, 2014FYI - I will not be taking the next EU T5_103 long - I see 1.3898-1.3913 as strong resistance. 1.3898 is the trigger for a T4Y_680 and 1.3913 is the TP for T5_2_2.

hollowhead replied Mar 5, 2014This is the biggest (and costliest) lesson I have had to learn - it took ages to sink into my 'hollow head'. A profitable trader has a variety of methods that work well in certain conditions. They are not stuck on one system/method/MM strategy, they ...

hollowhead replied Mar 5, 2014Another way is to go to url and do the school - it's free and got some good stuff. Look for the lessons of support and resistance and it will show you some ways to view and trade the decision levels (break, bounce, retest etc).

hollowhead replied Mar 5, 2014By no.2, I mean the price you have decided on in Point 2. ie, decision level is 170.6 and you see it has broken and you think market decision is long. You decided that if price goes back to say 170.45 that you are wrong. You then wait for price to ...

hollowhead replied Mar 5, 2014If I may offer one way 1. Wait to see what you think the market's decision is at one of the levels. 2. Decide where price would go to tell you that you misread the decision. 3. Wait for price to retrace to as close to no.2 as you think it will and ...
