Deano9999 commented Jan 30, 2013Who cares the direction, just trade what's in front of you on the charts, NOT what you think. If its going to 1.40, make sure you have a long trade to pick up the 400+ pips, don't just whinge about waiting to short it.
EUR/USD Making Fresh Highs; Resistance In Low 1.3580s
-
Deano9999 commented Jan 30, 2013No way to go short...yet. The COT still shows a huge weighting of shorts versus longs, which makes it too attractive for the big funds to squeeze the shorts. It will only be when equilibrium in the order books is restored that the Euro will find its ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 28, 2013Depends on your trading timeframe. If you're a day trader then probably some pips to be collected, but longer term look at the weekly chart, no chance its going to change trend, only retrace a couple of hundred of pips.

Deano9999 commented Jan 21, 2013Only vested interests would oppose this, and it will make no difference to trading volumes in the EU once the dust settles.

Deano9999 commented Jan 16, 2013The mix tells you why consumer sentiment is low - too many part time jobs being created versus full time jobs means not enough disposable income means low interest rates have little effect. This is just a painful rebalancing of the Australian ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 16, 2013Dragonfire, disagree about Japan. Its impossible for them to get their house in order now they are running current account deficits with the rest of the world for the first time in three decades. They will be the real problem in 2013 - the EUR will ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 15, 2013I'll offer mine to you. On the weekly chart, place a Fibonacci Retrace from May 2011 to July 2012. The 50% line exactly touches the last major top at Feb 19, 2012, at 1.3486. Both Fibonacci traders and S&R traders will make their stand there. That's ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 15, 2013No chance of 1.3450 today and probably not this week, maybe next. But trade whats in front of you in the charts, NOT what a talking head says or a hack with a position to support (SocGen is probably long in the 1.33's). The short term charts suggest ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 10, 2013Hmmm, I wonder how she's feeling this morning? It was never going to happen, BUT we're looking at 1.33 again so a reversal back to this level is possible if it fails again to break.
Trading The ECB Rate Decision: Sell EUR/USD Targeting 1.2850 - Westpac
-
Deano9999 commented Jan 10, 2013We are now back looking at 1.33 again, and the resistance there after 2 failed break attempts is huge. A failure to break a third time will send it back to 1.27 after some chop along the way. If it gets through and holds above (especially on today's ...

Deano9999 commented Jan 9, 2013Great. Lets build more units when we're already chronically over supplied. A perfect way to keep an unsustainably oversupplied construction sector going and continue the HIA delusion that the market will pick up this year.

Deano9999 commented Jan 7, 2013Why only one coin, the debt is almost T$17, so why not 17 coins and clean up the debt with one move! Inflation should only reach about 100% but thats only temporary! lol

Deano9999 commented Dec 24, 20121.35 entirely possible and inspite of the so called EUR crisis. Thi is just a medium term view from one of the hedge fund hacks who may or may not be right, but there are a whole lot of other factors that will influence the EUR in Q1, starting with ...

Deano9999 commented Dec 23, 2012I don't believe the JPY will weaken much further. Now that Abe has won his election, he'll simply drop into the usual Japanese political line and announce some more incremental QE, but its not the Japanese way to do a "Ben" and deliver a slam dunk ...

Deano9999 commented Dec 23, 2012I'm no expert on the drivers of the US economy, but I truly wonder about the reporting on this cliff and doom and gloom forecasts? For a start the spending cuts would take some time to filter through to the mainstream economy, so in the short term ...

Deano9999 commented Dec 18, 2012So in football terms the EUR makes another 1st down against the USD, and we all move the chains further up the field. We're almost to the end zone where it may score a touchdown and head for 1.35. Any USD fightback requires a change in sentiment, ...
