Not offensive at all! I have wanted to make fewer trades for a long time. I'd be happy to sell EUR/USD when 50 day goes below 200 MA and leave it to run for six months if it was profitable. (Using a future rather than spot of course)

I learned that with a R:R of 1.5 you 'only' need to win 2 in 5 trades (or something like that, 40% I think), and you limit your losses so you can trade at least 100 times in a row even if you lose all 100 times. (Risking 1% of account on each trade) ...

I like using that bloke's Heikin Ashi and Bollinger Bands system, forget this name. I use 200 MA as a filter instead of 50 MA.

All 'up swings' for the past two years have been relief rallies, the long term trend seems to be that the euro will be below parity with USD in a year or two.

Euro is cratering. Hit the 50 day SMA on 31 March and been in freefall ever since. Meanwhile gas prices continue to rise; oil is rising again and wheat and corn prices back up. 'Standing up for Ukraine'. The Great Reset agenda is real.

Nah, I'll show my support for Ukraine (the most corrupt country in Europe) by buying whatever worthless currency they use

That's interesting, because the USD has been on a relentless uptrend since the beginning of 2021. Even before USA/Nato provoked Russia into attacking Ukraine, the USD was appreciating against the Euro.

Compare and contrast H1 EUR/USD with another FX pair e.g. USD/JPY Which looks 'easier'

I recently 'quit' trading after being unable to find any system that works ... Now I'm back easing myself in gently ... 15 minutes timeframe is probably too intense for me, so I'll have to forgo those profits
