I just made 60 pips on that last move...well I would have if I remembered to buy...but I was thinking about it so it counts anyway! Haha, anyway, I'm wondering if we're going to shoot out of this 4800/5050 range tomorrow once that DNT expires. I'd ...

4950 is equidistant from both barriers of that large DNT...wouldn't be surprised to see it cross this line a lot by friday

2Y US bonds are at .75, indicating the bond market sees little risk of a rate increase for that period of time. Haven't done the analysis to see the accuracy of the bond market, but I hope it's wrong....I just bought a house and I want to see some ...

Too much leverage man. I hate to see someone blow their account in a couple days. I started FX in late 2007. Tripled my account and blew all my profit in a week last year. Now I trade 1/10 the amounts I used to trade and the stress is nothing ...

I explained it a few posts back, it's a double no touch option, meaning that the buyer needs the price to remain within the barriers before expiration. In this case the barriers are 1.4800 and 1.5100

IFR Markets, here's the news release...been a little bit of chatter about it, but apparently it is true. I believe ACB is Asia Commercial Bank, though I thought I read something about China... London, November 17. The heavy selling of EUR/USD spot ...

It's a double no touch option. The rumor is that China has huge DNTs at 4800 and 5100, therefore they would intervene to keep the euro from reaching either of those levels until the options expire. Now if I only knew if it were true and when they ...

Hmmm...gold up, oil up, stock markets flat, risk reversals showing long...Think I'm gonna keep my long open for now... Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention the "rumors" of a huge china DNT at 1.4800

Yeah, it should at least make a short term journey up there. After that who knows, but the risk reversals are extremely skewed in favor of puts. Several standard deviations from average for the past few years. Could mean not many big players left to ...
