Another thought is , despite rate cut chances are less, we cannot discount the global economic weakness and damage done since the trade war!! Need to be bullish on the gold once this light bear shock is recovered.

In the Fed statement Powell already made it clear that he dont want to market to adopt blanket assumption when there are signs of recessions FOMC will reduce rates, rather he stress to use other easing tools.

update!! Till tomorrows US CPI data release, looks like price will be consolidating between 1325 -1320. If CPI data will be weak > Buy dips. If CPI data will be strong > need to observe where price will settle bellow 1320.

H4 level line based supports and resistances for reference. I will buy only after tomorrow's US CPI data release. I guess, by that time price will hover around 1320. Another technical strong reason is > buyers are in hurry to close that gap

FOMC is not ready to feed the assumption of interest rate cuts in downturn when inflation and unemployment number are intact. Not good for USD. Need some other development for USD to become strong like easing of trade tension, UK US deal etc.
