You must mean 50 period SMA on H4, not 50-day SMA. In anycase if it is capped as you say why wasn't it capped back on 8/14 and on 7/31 and why wasn't it supported back on 7/20? Price action supports and resists. I'll never understand why people ...

If you have an ATR on your trading platform change length to just 1. That give you individual daily range. Applied to a daily bar chart of course.
