NowAndLater replied Jun 20, 2008I never use 0:00GMT for the daily open, although this has been tested for the JPY-pairs with some good results I believe. I'm in the UK so I'm happy with PC's daily open, wouldn't get much sleep otherwise...

NowAndLater replied Jun 20, 2008My daily open is from the hour before. It won't matter much in the long run, and so what if you missed one trade? No biggie mate. I have the same daily open as PC, how do I know? Check out the link to one of my posts on the first post of this ...

Print it and frame it my friend!
This was a clean break. I was looking at other things (working on another system as well which looks very good) and wasn't looking at UJ at all untill I saw the break and that's when I draw the lines. The DIBS Method... No Free Lunch continues

NowAndLater replied Jun 20, 2008The daily open is the open price of the aqua line at the 7 o'clock bar. The previous bar was an IB with the range of the two lime lines (the two yellow lines was the tight range UJ was in). Our daily open broke the IB to the downside below the daily ...

NowAndLater replied Jun 20, 2008My IB was 107.95-107.87, spread is 3 pips, risk is 8+2+3 = 13 pips, entry would have been 107.86, 1:1 is 107.73 and it's a free bird (too bad I missed it

NowAndLater replied Jun 20, 2008It was a good short I believe I missed it though. UJ had been in a range between 108.06-107.84 from 1500GMT yesterday to 700GMT today (25 min ago). A nice DIBS, which also can be seen on H4.

NowAndLater replied Jun 19, 2008Nope it's good. I personally didn't take because UJ hasn't been on my mind today as it has not been the hot hand. Anyway, was stopped out on EU with BE, only dibs-trade left is GU which is looking to break upwards. I've moved my stop to below the ...

NowAndLater replied Jun 19, 2008My IB range was 1.9688 to 1.9660, spread is 3 and I add 1 pip to each side. This gives 88-60+2+3 = 33 pips stop. Buystop at 1.9689 with 1:1 at 1.9689 + 0.0033 = 1.9722. Highest price on my chart is 1.9727. The reason I went for the 2/3 after 1:0,5 ...

NowAndLater replied Jun 19, 2008Looking at USDCHF M30 timeframe there was that IB that didn't close as IB on H1. Hmmm, maybe sometimes look there as well. It was just below the falling TL that it tried to breakout from. Oh well we don't need them all, and H1 timeframe is less ...
