Seems that today was dominated by oil concerns - USD is down massively against CAD. EUR is also down vs CAD and USD is up vs JPY (as is CAD vs JPY)

Well, the HA candle turned red but only just. EUR/USD is non-trending AFAIC on 30 mins timeframe, look elsewhere for trades (e.g. long USD/JPY, short EUR/CAD)

The most stressful thing for me is buying 1000 shares in a company (with my savings, not leverage) and then seeing it gap down $10 or more the next day.

Indices are tanking at the U.S. open but strangely the Euro is not tanking yet? We must wait for a completed red candle before shorting (per this system), with a stop above the upper BB.

USD bounces off cloud, then hits (and bounces off) pivot. Classic example of rangebound market. Rangebound market = when short time-frame traders lose money.

Increased military spending + domestic demand destruction = wartime economy? Well they do say that combating 'climate change' will be like waging total war ... And nobody is as good at exterminating Russians as the Germans. I guess old Europe is ...

Ooh yes, this is where to go short. I didn't notice it. USD found support at the cloud.

Well never mind, we only need to be right 4 times out of 10 when we have a R:R of 1 to 1.5

The EU has committed itself to permanently higher energy bills. What impact will this have on the Euro? Never mind the rabid anti-Russian bias displayed by the supposedly neutral Reuters. url

USD is descending into the cloud; you can take short-term counter-trend moves (e.g. long EUR/USD) but I would not be surprised if USD found support and resumed its uptrend in the coming weeks or months.
