Pip Anon replied Apr 25, 2014Let's face it, price action is derived from outside sources. You can say UJ will do what it's programmed to do is like saying the BoJ had nothing to do from moving from low-90s to low-100s. Because when these events aren't here the UJ is programmed ...

Pip Anon commented Apr 25, 2014Absolutely. I like NKD futures to be honest, if I was doing indexes. Eminis are nice when they are trending. I prefer energies though: crude, gas, nat gas, heating oil, sometimes ethanol

Pip Anon replied Apr 25, 2014I don't think it matters how decent the economic data is, looks like risk is just itching to sell off. I think the Ukraine thing is just a cover to unload. Nobody gave a shite the past two month but now it's "serious"

Pip Anon commented Apr 25, 2014Lol, I remember last year when the BOJ first started their inflation program, "analysts" were looking for 110 by end of 2013. There are only two things that will happen: 1) BoJ gets into a QE trap to avoid getting slaughtered and finance their own ...

Pip Anon replied Apr 24, 2014Agreed. Although I am perfectly fine with ending the carry trade, but yen pairs use to have nice wide ranges... scalp... swing... position..you could basically do it all. Not it's "large" moves on obscure events and than several hours of nothing.

Pip Anon replied Apr 24, 2014Still in an uptrend. Trend line support at 170, but I don't see a reason to go there. Sterling is likely to remain strong given the economics in UK. The inflation out of Japan has flat lined the last three months. I would suspect that gives the BoJ ...

Pip Anon replied Apr 24, 2014Getting mixed singles with this yen. Green futures coming in, but fundamentally I don't see why you buy here. Each of the last two inflation led into large up moves. Feb move went down then higher, while last move went up large.

Pip Anon replied Apr 24, 2014I use to LOVE yen pairs. But all of them have died down. I remember when GBPJPY would have 2-3, sometimes 400 pip daily ranges, and now its like woahhh woah waaaa But it is understandable to some degree. Coming into the new year the market has began ...

Pip Anon replied Apr 24, 2014Maybe. But even in the channel, the major moves have made higher highs, higher lows. Could fall to trend line and bounce higher. It's in the BoJ's hands, and IDK if traders wanna step in front of that train.

Pip Anon commented Apr 24, 2014It's what separates amateurs from pros. I mean I fully understand the want to make returns, but it never turns out good. Many of the major brokerages want at least $10K account minimum.
