Hi Slazo, I am similar to you apart from one thing. I missed the breakout last night. I spent 18hrs at the computer yesterday and it happened 10 mins after I went to bed!! Hoping for a retrace today. I made some very sloppy entries last night due to ...

Good Trading — Thats good trading Paul well done. I toyed with the idea of going against hindsight on the yen. This has also dropped nearly 200 pips. Decided to stick with my hindsight but I admire your flexible approach. Cheers Ben

Morning All, Welcome to Marion!! I had 5 attempts yesterday to go long on UJ. 3 attempts on initial breakout Sydney am. Then 2 attempts around the 50% retrace of the weekly. My net loss is 53 pips. This is lower than the recommended average but ...

Hi Everyone UJ has stopped dead at 50% retrace of previous weekly candle. It is also touching a trendline on 4hr. If it bounces here it will probably form a pin bar flying buddah on 4hr. I entered long on recent flying buddah on 5 min.

I agree Dave my hindsight is bullish on this pair but only after a retrace. I was tempted to take some short term profit on the ride down but keeping it simple for now. Only trade short if weekly support is broken. Regards Ben

Volatile breakout failed 2 positions closed for average loss of -6.9 pips both closed manually. Pin bar has formed on hourly against hindsight. Time to just observe. Could be a retrace now to fib level or wick on the weekly. I thought that breakout ...

Hi Pip-Daddy, UJ is a good option for me as it is a pinbar flying buddah on both monthly and weekly. It has 3 options as far as I can see. 1, Big retrace huge pip potential 2, Continuation breaking through and closing below 85, huge pip potential. ...

Hi Dave, I was also subscribing to the 2 lot theory. My problem is that my entries are still quite sloppy. With this in mind I now start with 1 lot and add second as soon as I get confirmation. On a flying buddah for example i will try and get 1st ...

ForexCube, Once again a valid point, especially if you are not fluid, if you have a bullish bias and cannot be wrong(most traders). However the point I made before still stands. Please explain how this would pose a problem to the methods laid out in ...

Valid Point Forex Cube, However, if you re read the thread you will see that Graeme goes long and short. So looking at your chart there is a nice flying buddah 8 days prior to the big drop. Graeme would be going short then, he would have also seen ...
